So I’ve been working tirelessly (oh yes, woe is me! ;D) on a new skin for the Harry Potter RPG I run. And I am so totally satisfied with it!
I go on a skinning spree every month or so—sometimes even sooner, like this time. I think it’s only been 2~3 weeks since I made the last skin. But! In my defence, I wasn’t 100% happy with the last one, lol.
This skin is a dark one. I was a little iffy on making it dark at first since it’s hard to get colours right on a dark skin, but I think it turned out pretty all right! ^^ I made some template changes to the forum software too. I hope I never have to look at PHP again. My eyes hurt.
The dark skin suits some of the darker plot ideas the other admins and I have in mind for next term. Let’s just say that Hogwarts is no longer safe from the hands of evil.

I’m waiting for approval from the Quilting Bee. Please check back soon. :)
(P.S. I’m sorry, I can’t seem to get the quilt pieces to line up next to each other nicely. >_<)
I meant to write some posts the past month, but I don’t think I’m too good at keeping up with Tumblr updates. With Facebook, I don’t really care whether my posts are ‘quality’ posts… I just go ahead and post.
With Tumblr, I feel like I have to be hipster and write something meaningful, or a mind-warp type of thing. As in, if someone stumbles upon my Tumblr, they should read a post and think, “WOW. All my life’s problems have been solved! Thank you random Tumblr!”
But we all know that’s not going to happen. Sure, I might crank out a thoughtful, or hell, philosophical post once in a while, but nothing anyone can say will ever solve your own problems.
I think writing means a lot to me. The past few years have been the most difficult in life, and writing helped me through it. It’s not formal writing—or at least, that’s not what they call it. Whoever ‘they’ is.
It’s called ‘play-by-post roleplaying’, and I generally roleplay in the Harry Potter fandom. It’s nice, creating your own characters, who essentially, are a part of you.
Well, me. But you get what I’m saying.
When my friends and I opened up Ad Lucem, I didn’t expect it to boom so well. But it did, and I’m happy that I can continue writing through it. The AL experience is an amazing one, to say the least. Our members are all such wonderful folk. Even when the admins are busy (guilty as charged!), they take the time to welcome new members, keep things active and just… Shine the forum up with their awesome writing!
I love you AL. <3

The other day, I got into a fight with a woman at Hermes over a purse. I won.
+1 for Pudding!
I seriously thought she was going to wrestle me for it, though. :/
